Description
Does not act directly on the hock action like other lunge training aids that can produce too much of an ‘on the forehand’ action. Working only the front of the horse encourages more freedom for the horse to learn how to engage its back muscles to work long and low into an even contact.
The soft rope of this model is gentle against the sensitive areas of the horse’s body and only applies pressure when the horse hollows through the topline. Thereby the horse is rewarded when he softens and goes correctly, effectively encouraging the horse to work correctly. This lunging aid is easy to fit and use – a wonderfully simple piece of equipment that is a definite asset around the yard.
